Jake Johnson announces re-election campaign for a fourth term

State Rep. Jake Johnson, the youngest member of the N.C. General Assembly and deputy majority whip of the House, last week announced his plans to seek re-election to a fourth term representing the 113th District. The district is made up of Polk, southern Henderson, western Rutherford and southern McDowell counties. A native of Polk County, Johnson, 29, has served in the legislature since 2019.
