Flat Rock appoints Backlund to tourism board

FLAT ROCK — The Flat Rock Village Council appointed Carl Sandburg National Historic Site superintendent Connie Backlund to the new Henderson County Tourism Development Authority, leaving just one unfilled seat on the nine-member body.
