A Hendersonville real estate agent received a suspended 60-day sentence and one year of supervised probation after pleading guilty in Henderson County District Court on Tuesday to a misdemeanor charge of sexual battery. Judge Kim Gasperson-Justice also ordered Noah George to register as a sex offender for at least 10 years, District Attorney Greg Newman said. George, 38, was charged with sexual battery after an incident on Dec. 31 or Jan. 1 with a 31-year-old woman who was "physically helpless" at the time, according to an arrest report by Hendersonville police Detective Kyle Thiel. "The victim did read a statement" in court, Newman said. The guilty plea "was all done with her input and consent. She was very gracious in her attitude about. I know she's very concerned about (George's wife) and their children. She needed an admission of his wrongdoing and she did get that." George was in the courtroom with his mother, his minister, and defense attorney, Roy Neill. "He did speak and he made an apology before the court," Newman said. "He did express his contrition in open court." The victim, who lives in Mountain Home, said, "I'm not allowed to make any statement because of my position in law enforcement." Asked if she is a police officer, she said she was. George is one of the most visible real estate agents in town, broadcasting weekly radio shows on both WTZQ and WHKP.
