Missing 12-year-old is found safe

EDNEYVILLE — Sheriff's deputies have located a 12-year-old boy who had been reported missing earlier today. The boy, last seen around 7:30 Wednesday night around his home on Whitehead Road in Edneyville was safely located near his home, the sheriff's office said in a news release at 11:30 a.m.   Read Story »

COUNTY REJECTS CHANGE IN HHS PLAN

An overflow crowd packed the Historic Courthouse Wednesday as the Henderson County Board of Commissioners opened a meeting that included a discussion of the future of Hendersonville High School. After four hours, people from the Bearcat Nation left disappointed. Commissioners unanimously agreed to stick with the plan to build an entirely new school.   Read Story »
